TUCSON, ARIZ. (May 24, 2007) — The Tucson chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) has named Kerry Stratford the 2007 Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year.

Stratford is the creative director and partner of The Caliber Group, a strategic marketing communications and public relations firm in Tucson, and has been involved in the marketing and design industry for over 20 years.

The award, that honors a woman who has owned a successful business for three or more years, was presented at the organization’s Women in Balance Conference earlier in May.

“I enjoy what I do,” said Stratford. “I have surrounded myself with great people that help me to provide excellent customer service. I make sure to balance my family life with my business, while pushing the boundaries of creativity to achieve great results for our clients.”

Stratford is an active member of the Tucson community and has taught visual communication courses at the University of Arizona over the past decade, while serving on numerous boards and committees. Most recently, she has served as president for the Contemporary Art Society of the Tucson Museum of Art and was an active member of the Museum’s board of trustees.
