Marketing Account Planner
Description:
Caliber Group, a brand marketing, public relations, and digital agency based in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a part-time Marketing Account Planner to join its growing team. Caliber’s Marketing Account Planners are the marketing consultants, strategy drivers, and planning experts within the agency. Account Planners maintain strong relationships with their clients and agency teams, focused on developing proposals, strategies, campaigns, and budgets that ensure our client objectives are met. A high level of communication, strategy, organization, time management, problem-solving, and leadership skills are a must.
Compensation
- Part-time hourly non-exempt position with compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.

Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Research and write effective integrated marketing communication proposals, plans and budgets.
- Meet client and agency objectives and demonstrate value/results.
- Provide effective communication between client and agency teams.
- Lead client discovery and planning sessions, organize key information, and provide clear and strategic direction to the agency team.
- Critically review project timelines and deliverables and receive client feedback and approvals to ensure the agency is meeting client goals and delivering on its promise.
- Work independently and on teams and understand when specialists need to be involved.
- Effectively manage time and utilization goals.
- Develop a masterful understanding and knowledge of agency services and costs (branding, digital marketing, public relations, social media, website creation, etc.).
- Tailor working/communication styles to individuals to build the best relationships possible to support goals.
- Master the agency process and continually work to evolve it into what works best for our agency and clients.
- Become the client expert/advocate on our clients’ brands, business needs and marketing strategies while also serving as the agency advocate regarding agency process, procedures, and budget needs.
- Foster and promote the agency’s brand, capabilities, and culture.
- Be a positive and effective leader, manager, problem-solver, and team member.

Job Requirements
- Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Related Degree.
- Minimum 10 years of experience planning and managing integrated marketing communication campaigns/ projects and budgets.
- Experience using project management software (i.e., Asana); Zoom; Google Docs/Sheets; DropBox; Excel; Word, etc.
- Experience presenting and selling plans, work, ideas, concepts, and budgets.
- Excellent written and oral communications, copywriting, and editing skills.
- Ability to see the big picture, plan ahead, multi-task, manage team workflow and meet deadlines.
- This position requires working inside the Caliber office or working remotely using a computer, talking with staff, clients and vendors, and talking on the phone and using video conferencing, primarily during Caliber’s office hours of 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Some after-hours work may be required.
