Account Coordinator

Description:

The Caliber Group, a brand marketing and public relations agency based in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an Account Coordinator to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, creative, results-driven environment.  The ideal candidate is hungry to learn quickly from the best, can take direction from multiple leaders, is a planner, detail-oriented, and makes sure no deadline is missed. A high level of communication, organization, time management, problem-solving, and leadership skills are a must. The successful Account Coordinator will have future opportunities for advancement to Account or Traffic Management positions at Caliber.

Overall Job Responsibilities

  • Provide project planning, organization, estimating, scheduling, communication, and deadline management support for our internal team of marketing, advertising, paid media, social media, public relations, and creative experts at our agency.
  • Meet client and agency objectives and demonstrate value/results.
  • Promote the agency’s capabilities and culture among target audiences, within the agency, and within the Tucson community.
  • Be a positive and effective leader, manager, problem-solver, and team member.

Specific Job Duties (Including, But Not Limited To):

  • Bring a positive attitude to work every day, towards every person.
  • Meet client objectives and consistently demonstrate value/results.
  • Support Account Managers and Traffic Manager with overflow project planning, budgeting, and communication needs.
  • Tailor working/communication styles to client and agency team members to build positive working relationships and produce results.
  • Master the agency process and continually work to evolve it into what works best for our agency and clients.
  • Continually review, communicate, and monitor campaign and project timelines, budgets and due dates to support the agency’s success in meeting client goals, deadlines, and budgets.
  • Foster and promote agency culture among current and future employees.
  • Promote Caliber’s brand and capabilities to target audiences.
  • Effectively manage time and utilization goals each month.
  • Develop a masterful understanding and knowledge of all agency services and costs (branding, digital marketing, public relations, social media, website creation), and support account managers in the development of proposals.

Job Requirements

  • Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or Related Degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience, including a proven track record in planning, scheduling, estimating, communicating, and meeting multiple project deadlines.
  • Experience using digital marketing and metrics software (Google Data Studio; SEM Rush; Asana; Zoom; Google Docs/Sheets; Dropbox; Excel; Word, etc.
  • Outstanding team leadership and communication skills including an engaging and collaborative communication style.
  • Self-motivated, flexible and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to embrace and represent agency values and brand promise: excellence; integrity; responsive; reliable; accountable; results.

Compensation

  • Full-time, salaried exempt position with compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.

Reports To

  • Account Directors

Requirements

  • This position requires approximately 40 hours per week working inside the Caliber office using a computer, talking with staff, clients and vendors, and talking on the phone and using video conferencing, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Some after-hours work/events are required.
  • Connectivity outside of the office and business hours is sometimes required for certain situations, clients, or emergencies.
