Linda Welter Cohen is the CEO of Caliber Group, a strategic brand marketing and public relations firm based in Southern Arizona. Founded in 1997, Caliber works with a range of industry leaders including Eurofresh Farms, University of Arizona Office of University Research Parks, Pima Community College, and Commerce Bank of Arizona.
Linda and the Caliber team offer a full complement of corporate, agency, small business and non-profit experience to help clients start, expand and reposition their brands. Prior to launching Caliber in 1997, Linda was the vice president of marketing and public relations for National Bank of Arizona, and an account supervisor for a marketing and public relations agency.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Northern Iowa, and is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Linda serves on the PRSA Counselors Academy executive committee and has served as chair of PRSA’s Board of Ethics and Professional Standards, chair of PRSA’s Western District, and president of the Southern Arizona Chapter of PRSA.
Linda received a Community Leadership Award from Greater Tucson Leadership and was honored as a Woman on the Move from the YWCA in 2011. Previously, she was honored by the American Advertising Federation Tucson chapter as Advertising Professional of the Year, and by the Arizona Small Business Association as a Southern Arizona Smart Inspiring Enterprise (SASIE) business owner and rainmaker/community leader. The University of Arizona’s Eller College of Business recognized Linda as a Business Woman of Distinction, and she has received Metropolitan Pima Alliance Common Ground Awards for helping to build community consensus through strategic partnerships.
