Ann loves words. She is responsible for news writing, editing and managing media relations for the firm and its clients.

As the former Arizona Daily Star editorial page editor, Ann’s knowledge of greater Tucson community and longstanding relationships with business, media and community leaders complement Caliber’s strengths. Ann left the Star in November after 12 years with the daily newspaper. Before heading the Editorial Page, she edited Caliente, the Star’s weekly entertainment section, and was a Features reporter. An award winning writer, Ann received first place in the “Best column: Analysis or Commentary” category in the 2009 Better Newspapers Contest, presented by the Arizona Newspapers Association and the Arizona Associated Press Managing Editors.

A Tucson native and University of Arizona alumna, Brown worked for the Tucson, San Antonio and San Francisco chambers of commerce in communications and economic development.
